Did anyone else read about this story in their news feed the other day?

Apparently what happened is that the students did a skit about the assassination of Donald Trump.

The teacher had no idea this was going to happen.  The students were supposed to submit a plan of the skit beforehand, but these students changed their idea at the last minute.
And once the teacher realized what was happening, the teacher promptly stopped the skit.

And yet, the parents are still losing their minds about it, and demanding the teacher's head be served on a platter.

But the parents of a student said the teacher never appeared to be reprimanded.
“I don’t understand how the teacher can repeat an apology and be right there back at work on Monday morning,” Harold Bean told the Express-News.
 Oh for fuck's sake!

Look, anyone who actually teachers teenagers (and I do) can tell you that they have absolutely no sense about appropriacy.  They do dumb insensitive stuff like this all the time.  They make tons on insensitive comments every day.  If you're going to lose your shit every time a 10th grader does something insensitive, you're going to be constantly outraged.
Now look, I'm not saying the kids should have been allowed to continue their skit.  The teacher was right to stop them.  And I'm not saying the students shouldn't have been reprimanded.  But once all that is done, the incident should be over.  For the parents to still be outraged about it is evidence of a problem.

So why am I bringing all this up?  Because I'm sick of reading articles about how easily offended PC college kids are these days.  And I'm tired of reading about how coddled university students are.

Conservatives are just as whiny and just as easily offended.  And incidents like this prove it.
