My adult students apparently really enjoyed the movie worksheets from last term, because they all requested to continue with them for this term.
I, on the other hand, was quickly deciding I didn't have enough time to prepare new movie worksheets for every lesson. (I would be embarrassed to tell you how long it takes to make these worksheets and PowerPoint slides every week...but I'll just say it takes me way too long.)
For my children's classes, I was already creating new movie worksheets every lesson. I decided I didn't have time to do this with my adult classes as well.
"If we're going to do this," I said, "We're going to have to do one of the movies I've already created."
So, we ended up going with The Jungle Book, which I had already used for my children's classes. (For those original worksheets, designed for use with low level children, see here).
I updated these worksheets for adults in exactly the same way I had updated the Peter Pan movie worksheets that I did last term. I kept the original 5 easy vocabulary words I had used with the children's class, and to this added 5 more difficult words. (Some of the vocabulary words I've chosen to focus on are distinctively not high-frequency words. But my philosophy is that this activity isn't really about acquiring useful vocabulary--the vocabulary matching exercises are just an excuse to interact with the input).

Bagheera: He hates man with a vengeance,
you know that. Because he fears man's gun and man's fire.
Baloo: But little Mowgli don't have
those things.
Bagheera: Shere Khan won't wait until he
does. He'll get Mowgli while he's young and helpless. Just one swipe and—.
Baloo: Oh! Well—Well what are we gonna
do?
Bagheera: We'll do what's best for the
boy.
Baloo: You better believe it, you name
it and I'll do it.
Bagheera: Good. Then make Mowgli go to
the man-village.
Baloo: Are you out of your mind? I
promised him he could stay here in the jungle with me!
Bagheera: Well that's just the point. As
long as he remains with you, he's in danger. So it's up to you.
Baloo: Why me?
Bagheera: Be-be-because he won't listen
to me.
Baloo: I love that kid. I love him like
he was my own cub.
Bagheera: Then think of what's best for
Mowgli and not yourself.
Baloo: But, well can’t, well can't I
wait until morning?
Bagheera: It's morning now. Go on,
Baloo.
Baloo: Uh..
Mowgli: Ummmm...
Baloo: Oh boy. Mowgli? Mowgli? Uh, it's
time to (1)get up.
Mowgli: Oh. Hi Baloo.

Mowgli: Well, good-bye Bagheera. Me and
Baloo, we've got things to do.
Bagheera: Good-bye man-cub. And good
luck.
Mowgli: Come on, Baloo. All we got to do
is...Look for the bare necessities, Some good old bare necessities, Forget
about your worries and your strife. I
mean the bare necessities, That's why a bear can rest at ease, With just the
bare necessities of life. Yeah! I'll live here in the (4)jungle all my
life! Yeah, man! I like being a (5)bear.
Where are we going, Baloo?
Baloo: Well, ah... it's a... um, well

Baloo: Mowgli, ah, look buddy, there's
something I've got to tell you.
Mowgli: Tell me what, Baloo?
Baloo: Gee whiz. How did old Baggy (7)put
it? Ah, ah, Mowgli? Hah, you wouldn't marry a panther, would you?
Mowgli: Heh-heh. I don't even know what
you're talking about.
Baloo: Mowgli, don't you realize that
you're a human?
Mowgli: I'm not anymore, Baloo. I'm a
bear like you.
Baloo: Little buddy, look, listen to me.
Mowgli: Come on, come on, Baloo.
Baloo: Now Mowgli, stop it now, now hold
still. I-I wanna tell you something, now (8)listen to me.
Mowgli: What's the matter, old papa
bear?
Baloo: Look Mowgli, I've been trying to
tell you, I've been trying all morning to tell you, I've got to take you back
to the man-village!
Mowgli: The man-village?
Baloo: Now look, kid, I can explain.
Mowgli: But-but you said we were
partners.
Baloo: Now believe me, kid, I, I—
Mowgli: You're just like-like old
Bagheera.
Baloo: Now just a minute, that's going
too far. Hey, Mowgli, where are you
going? Wait a minute! Stop! Wait! Wait!
Listen to old Baloo. Mowgli? Mowgli? Mowgli! Mowgli? Mowgli?
Bagheera: Now what's happened?
Baloo: Well, You—You're not going to

out on me.
Bagheera: Well-well, don't (9)just
