Since I listed all the books I read in 2014 (see previous post), I decided I might as well go in and do the movies as well.  (This is my personal list of whatever movies I saw during 2014, and not connected to which films were released last year.)

47. Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier 4 Stars
48. The Wolf of Wall Street 6 Stars
49. The Hollow Crown: Henry IV Part 1 7 Stars

Since I've been rating these movies all along, it shouldn't be that hard to now determine which were the best and the worst movies.  The movies with 1 star are the worst, and the movies with 10 stars are the best.
(Actually it's not that simple, because my ratings aren't 100% accurate, but just quick off the cuff impressions.  Upon reflection, I probably would change any number of these ratings.  However, that flaw in my system being admitted, I'm not going to open that can of worms now and start re-evaluating everything.  For the sake of simplicity, I'll just let the ratings stand as they are.)

Best Film I Saw in 2014
The Grand Budapest Hotel

Worst Films I Saw in 2014
Tootsie and Get On Up

And while I'm making lists, I'll just quickly add on the TV shows I watched in 2014
1. Vietnam: The Ten Thousand Day War
2. The World at War
3. True Detective Season 1
4. The Hour

Link of the Day
Obama and Martin Luther King Jr.
