Vocabulary
box - a square or rectangular container:

cupboard - a piece of furniture with a door on the front and shelves inside, used for storing things:

drawer - a container like a box without a lid that is part of a piece of furniture and that slides in and out:
She opened the drawer and took out a knife.
edge - the part around something that is furthest from the centre:
Rick was sitting on the edge of the bed.
empty - If something is empty, it does not contain any things or people:
The train was completely empty when it reached London.
fit - to put or fix something somewhere:
You ought to fix a smoke alarm in the kitchen.
frock - a dress:
Look at the little girl in a pretty frock.
lap - Your lap is the top part of your legs when you are sitting down:
Sit on my lap and I'll read you a story.
ledge - a long, flat surface that comes out under a window or from the side of a mountain:
The birds landed on a ledge about halfway up the cliff.
middle - the central part, position, or point in time:
We used to live just outside Boston but now we live right (= exactly) in the middle.
piano - a large wooden musical instrument with strings inside and black and white bars that produce sounds when you press them
shoe - a strong covering for the foot, often made of leather:
This is a pair of shoes.
