In each game, there are 2 cards for each sight word and the students have to match the cards together. The practice comes in making the students say each sight word as they flip the card. In my class, I make the student pronounce each word on the card before they get a chance to find the matching card. If they don't know how to pronounce it, I help them. But if you want to play this game on hard mode, you could say that students who can't pronounce the word by themselves don't get a chance to find the match.

Fry Sight Words Flashcards
(TESOL Worksheets--Sight Words)
[I initially started this google doc with the first 10 sight words. Then, once my students were familiar with the first 10, I added 10 more, and decided rather than starting a new document, I'd just add to the existing document. At the moment of publishing this blog post, I'm at 40 sight words on this google doc. I may add more to it in the future.]

I've been using these videos with my students to practice sight words. As of this moment of posting, I've only been concentrating on the first 50 Fry sight words. But for anyone who wants to keep going, I'll link the other videos below:
* 51-75
* 75-100
