History Quiz Simple Questions

I was teaching a lesson on "Questions for asking about Historical Events" (Time Zones 3, Unit 7, Grammar p.68-69).  I was searching for some very easy history trivia questions that my students might now.  This was the best I could find on short notice.

It's available at the link above from https://www.homeschooling-ideas.com/support-files/history-quiz.pdf

I also made a copy in my own google drive

There are a few arguable facts here.  (The thing about Nero fiddling is a famous anachronism) , and there are some spelling and punctuation mistakes as well.  But I decided to overlook these, and I found it worked relatively well in my classroom.

In my class, I cut up the questions and answers.  I put the students into teams, and then had them try to match the questions and answers in their teams.  Then we played the Doraemon PowerPoint game as feedback. (drive, slides, pub

(I'm posting this on the blog to keep track of the material I've used.  I also am indexing it with my TESOL worksheets, and Past Simple Questions indexes).

Slides for Drilling Irregular Past Tense Statements and Questions

(TESOL Activities--Past SimpleQuestionsIrregular Verbs, past simple questions)

A few months ago, I designed a slideshow to drill the irregular verbs in English World 3 Unit 6. The grammar point in Unit 8 is pretty much the same (irregular verbs) but with a different set of irregular verbs this time.  So I made a separate Slide Show to go with Unit 8.
I think this can also be used as a stand-alone activity for studying irregular verbs.  So I'm posting it here as well.

The first slide show is drilling affirmative statements. (slides, pub)

The second slide show is for the question form and short answers (slides, pub)

PowerPoint for drilling Irregular Past Tense Questions

(TESOL Activities--Past Simple, Questions, Irregular Verbs, past simple questions)

Google (drive, slides, pub)
This PowerPoint is meant to drill the question form for Irregular past tense verb sentences.  (The students had already studied statement form for irregular past tense verbs in the previous lesson).
I used this lesson to supplement the textbook English World 3 p.68, and therefore the choice of the 6 verbs (go, win, say, see, sit, come) reflect the verbs used in the textbook.  But I think it can also be used independently of the textbook, so I'm posting it here.

(TESOL Worksheets--Past Simple, questions, past simple questions)
[This is a continuation of a my PowerPoint for Drilling Past Simple.  As such, it starts out by recycling the language from the previous lesson, and then moves into the new segment--the question forms.
