I don't see why this word deserves a particular lesson. Not sure if it depends on the person, but I don't see "take" being an easy to confuse word, compared to other words that form collocations.
...actually, "take after" could be a collocation learners may confuse with "follow" (unless it's just me), as it doesn't come up frequently enough.
Still, not a hard word, most of the time - or at least one that makes people like myself do a lot of Googling.
