lmao at kids using the "4 old 9 me" excuse, very intellectual. maybe could have used dem donuts to lure dem kids "kids I'm sure the donuts are very incredible, but you know what's best done while eating donuts? star wars"
Yes, I definitely should try using donuts as a lure next time. Who can resist donuts and Star Wars?
I make too many lame jokes now but for unknown reason I just had another imagined scenario "Hey kids come into this room you will get to watch your cartoons now *lock the door with a key*", "Where's the cartoons on TV dad? I see no cartoo- Dad, you tricked me!", "*laughing maniacally and sliding in [the return of the Jedi] DVD*".
A tad bit more serious... well, do I even have anything to say other than "woe is me my life and childhood sucks and I hate my family/culture" though? A bit hard to chime in with the comment section on Youtube... Well, I sure am not a dad at this too young (or so I comfort to myself, or at least comparatively) of an age yet, maybe or wishfully never. Trying to interest other people with stuff I care about is among the many things I abandoned in their company. Trying to explain foreign concepts with a blend of pronunciations of Japanese and English stuff is something impossible to do naturally when the equivalents hardly exist unless I make up myself.
...I see a work by O Henry mentioned in a comment. That's a fond name, his short story The Last Leaf is featured prominently in my literature textbook as well as sometimes brought up on the internet in a form of some meme itself. A cheer for O Henry who has made it into the history of Vietnamese national memes!!
