One can only imagine what dishonest use AI generated videos could be put to in the future.
The future, it turns out, is already here. We're not going to have to wait 5 years to see fake news generated by AI video, because it's already happening now.
So, allow me to repeat what I said in my earlier post. The best course of action is strong legislation to outlaw this technology. Otherwise, our democracy is doomed.

Now, granted, these types of stories have been all over conservative media ever since I was a kid. And the Internet has made this type of misinformation much worse. (See, for example, this post from 2019). But AI is going to bring this to another whole level.
