I lost some treasured tomes when the girls were smaller. Spilling on bookshelves is another hazard. Such are the risks when parenting.
Oh no, did I mispronounce the name? Nuts! I've got a history of doing that. I get lots of comments on these videos letting me know I've mispronounced names: Dostoevsky, Nabokov, Mahfouz, etc.
Thanks for the comment about losing books. Helps to know I'm not alone in this. I've been frustrated by the amount of books that have been getting torn up in my apartment lately.
