I used to like Bret Weinstein.  When he first became famous because of Evergreen State Controversy, I was supportive of his position, and I've spent a lot of hours listening to his talks on Youtube, and used to find him an intelligent voice.  I didn't always agree with him, but I found him an interesting contrarian opinion.  (I knew he was admired by a lot of the wrong people, but I didn't hold that against him.)  But his recent support of vaccine skepticism has made me lose respect for him.  I'm not sure if Bret Weinstein changed, or if I was wrong to respect him in the first place.
