THE CAMBODIA DAILY TO CLOSE AFTER 24 YEARS

I mentioned this last week, but at that point it was not yet final what the outcome would be.  Now it looks to be final.

I read the Cambodian Daily pretty much... well, daily, during my 4 years in Cambodia.  Even though I'm no longer living in the country, I'm sad it's gone.

It also, reading between the lines, sounds like an endorsement of the benefits of extensive reading for language learning.
