(TESOL Worksheets--Present Simple Passives)

[I usually start the class by showing the students large versions of the pictures and ask them to tell me what is happening.  (This will help clear up any unknown vocabulary like whiskers or tickle).  Then I give them a sheet containing the pictures, and a sheet containing the sentences, tell the students to match the pictures to the sentences.  After the students have finished this, I give them the final sheet with the active and passive sentences clearly next to each picture.  I ask the students to tell me what they think the difference between the active and passive formation is.]
