are the rules at your school?
Fabulae School
Let me tell
you about my school: Fabulae school.
Have you ever heard of it? It’s
different than ordinary schools.
How is it
different? Let me see...Well, for
starters, you don’t have to come on time.
That’s right, you can come whenever you like. If you want to come at the beginning of
class, you can come then. If you want to
come late, you can come late. If you don’t
want to come at all, you can stay home.
Basically, you can come whenever you want, and the teachers don’t mind.
And you can
leave whenever you want too. So if you’re
studying, and you’re feeling bored, you can just leave class whenever you want.
Of course,
you can’t disturb the rest of the class.
So, if you come late, you have to be quiet. And if you leave early, you have to leave
quietly as well. The teachers are very
strict about this. But as long as you
are quiet, you can come and leave anytime.
You can’t
leave the school grounds without permission from your parents. So you can’t go to the mall or the video
arcade, but if you want to read quietly you can go to the school library
whenever you want, and you can play outside on the playground whenever you
want. And you can play in the school gym
whenever you want.
However, you
do have tests at the end of every term. And the tests are usually quite
difficult. So if you want to pass the
tests, you must study hard. You don’t
have to go to class everyday, but you should read the books the teacher gives you. And you should do some of the workbook
exercises. But you don’t have to do them
in class—you can do them whenever you feel like it.
Other than
that, it’s just basic rules really. You
mustn’t fight at school, and you mustn’t do anything violent. You can play sports if you like, but you
shouldn’t do anything dangerous. You can borrow books from the school’s
library, but you should be careful with them.
And you should have fun!
