* Nothing any of the characters do seems to make any logical sense or be consistent with what their motivation should be.

The Review

          A peculiar little movie—it almost seems like this movie is deliberately trying to be terrible on purpose.

            In fact I think that’s what may be happening here.  I suspect some of the more blatant cheesiness of this movie is a deliberate homage to the cheesiness of the original Wizard of Oz and other movies of its time.  I’m not entirely sure the gamble paid off though.
