Steve Donoghue posted a vide on separating the art from the artist a few days ago. I don't agree with every word of it (e.g. he might be oversimplifying what happened to J.K. Rowling, and a few other minor details), but I certainly agree with the main thrust of his argument.
I want to post it here, mainly just to bookmark it for myself. In the future, I may be reading a few controversial authors. Or possibly listening to a few controversial podcasters. And I want to be able to link back to this video in order to justify why I've chosen to separate the art from the artist.
